Hello All.

Here is a collection of snap shots of my Westfield kit car.  Basically this is why I started drifting away from race sim modelling.

A bit of information about it:
Powerplant is a Nissan S13 SR20DE.  This is a virtually standard non turbo unit.  Only modifications are (at the moment) electric fan, extractors and new air filter.  Obviously it no longer drives the airconditioner or power steering units either.  It hasn't been dyno tested yet so can't comment on the power etc, but it is enough for now. Currently running a standard Nissan computer.  The main reason for such limited modifications is that this is a road car and needs to meet emissions regulations.  If I make more modifications then I have to get a gas test and so on and that is a pain.
Gearbox is a standard Nissan 5 speed lifted from the same Silvia that the powerplant came from.
Rear axle is a Ford Escort live axle with 4.125 differential.
Chassis is a fully triangulated spaceframe.
Body is lightweight fibreglass.
Weight is 590kg with full tank of fuel.

Why is the number plate FAT RS?  Not really sure, but the only other thing I have poured so much money into for no reward is my ex-wife and she is a wide body model too!

Finally, limited rear vision from two tiny Formula Ford type wing mirrors.  Obviously I can see and hear quite clearly what is beside me and why would I worry about who I have just passed?  If you want more snaps just let me know what you want a shot of and i will deliver.

Happy New Year

Sweet car? Had it to the track yet? I would love to hear what kind of performance your getting from this baby. How much does she weight? Oh and she just doesn't look that fat...

Yeah, not really fat, but it is a "wide body" model so FAT RS applies.  Weight is a shade less than 600kg with all fluid full (and me standing by the side).  Pity I spoil the power to weight ratio by quite a bit! ohmy

I have had her around a track as a shake down to bed in brakes and so on, but nothing serious at all.  Only done 250kms so far.
